The Short Answer: Most Chargers Work
akkuplan works with virtually any charging station because we control charging through your vehicle's online API, not through the charger itself. This means you don't need a "smart" charger for akkuplan to optimize your charging schedule.
Supported Charging Scenarios
🏠 Home Charging
Any home wallbox or charging station works perfectly. Smart features in the charger are not required.
🔌 Basic Wall Outlet
Even a simple household outlet (Schuko) with a mobile charging cable works with akkuplan.
☀️ With Solar/PV System
If you have solar panels, akkuplan can optimize charging to use cheap grid electricity during low-price periods, complementing your solar usage.
What About Smart Chargers?
If you have a smart charger with energy monitoring capabilities, akkuplan can integrate with it. However, this is optional and not required for cost optimization to work.
Smart charger integration is optional. Cost optimization works without it.
